The scientific community has only scratched the surface regarding the gene regulatory networks involved in embryonic gastrulation. My research utilizes novel single-cell technologies to bioinformatically study the pathways and mechanisms that direct cell behavior in the embryonic endoderm, dorsal forerunner cells, and Kupffer’s vesicle.
